While on his way to meet Kaneko, Conan is kidnapped. After losing consciousness, Conan awakens in the dark basement of a building being demolished. From overhead he hears the defeaning roar of heavy machinery drilling through concrete. Realizing he doesn`t have his phone, he attempts to use his Detective Boys badge to call for help, but there is no answer. Meanwhile, Ran and the Detective Boys become concerned that Conan still hasn`t come home. When Ai learns they can`t get in touch with him, she uses a GPS to locate Conan`s phone. They find it in a narrow alleyway in Ginza. Believing he may be the victim of a kidnapping related to the case, they turn on their badges and wait for him to respond...
